Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated resin to which colored pigments are added and painted with. Ed uses metal tools, special brushes, and heat torches to manipulate and sculpt the wax and resin while it is still hot, resulting in a dynamic, colour infused piece of art that is like none other.
